                                                 Weight Control

No more dieting, no more calorie counting, no more comfort eating and no more cravings. Sounds good? well it doesn't have to sound good it can feel great too, using hypnotherapy has proved very effective for people wanting guidance with weight control.

Hypnotherapy will help you to get rid of the extra pounds no longer wanted and to have you feeling slim, physically fit and attractive just as you deserve. Hypnotherapy will help you to learn to respect your body and to enjoy the food you eat whether it be a big meal or a small snack.

Have you ever ate everything on the plate even though you are no longer hungry? Well if so, you are eating sub consciously and with hypnosis we will help you to re program your sub conscious mind to identify when you are full and to stop eating. Hypnotherapy will help substitute unhealthy foods, such as, crisps and chocolate etc and replace them with healthy foods such as, fruit, pasta and meats etc. This is because by using some clever suggestions, your subconscious will understand the need to look after your body and will therefore only want to accept healthy food.

Hypnotherapy is an effective way to aid weight loss because it changes negative eating habits and behaviours into positive ones. It can give you the boost you need to lose weight. Some people overeat depending on their mood (comfort and emotional eating) – they may eat chocolate to cheer themselves up as a treat or eat crisps when watching the TV. For those trying to lose weight, these treats are often followed by feelings of guilt. With my help even your emotional eating can be controlled.

During the weight loss programme, you will learn to combat cravings, understand your relationship with food and the triggers that make you eat, and believe you can do it. With full support, you will begin to experience the emergence of your real self - confident, energised and you will feel like flying without the fat and attitude that once weighed you down!

Why aren't diets helpful?

Diets make us crave even more the foods that we are not “allowed”, leaving us feeling frustrated and deprived. Diets normally involve reducing the amount you eat and/or severely restricting the number of calories you consume. When you do this your body gradually reacts and a natural (rather unhelpful!) mechanism kicks in whereby your body thinks it is being starved and then over time your metabolism slows down (the speed at which your body burns calories). Many people try diets or slimming clubs and often they lose weight but slowly notice that the pounds creep back once they reach their target weight because they stop controlling their food and revert to their old bad habits having been ‘let loose’ from their weekly meetings or strict diet regime. It is well known that losing weight slowly means you are much more likely to keep the weight off in the long term, rather than losing weight quickly by crash dieting.
